Woody Bay via South West Coast Path walk

A self-guided walk which offers some of the best coastal scenery to be found along any of the South West Coast Path. If you suffer from vertigo, maybe you should give this walk a miss, but otherwise it is very much worth going for the views. The walk starts at the aptly named Woody Bay and follows the lower coast path passing on the way one of the highest waterfalls on this part of the coast, overlooks a rock arch before going down into the grand Heddon Valley. You then regain your lost height to continue to Trentishoe Down before going inland to drop down into a lovely wooded valley to Hunters Inn. The route then follows the old coaching road back to Woody Bay with more amazing coastal views.
